This is an exciting time of the year for us with so much going on. Nathan is graduating high school, then heading on a wilderness adventure and then college. My friend’s daughter is graduating for Montana State – the first step in their journeys of their adult life.
I created some cards using the May Cut Mania cut files – I love how they turned out with the metallic paper.
I created a card yesterday, inspired by a sketch at Paper Issues. I used some foil paper and one of the new Cut Mania sentiment/title cut files. Nathan will be graduating next month and I think this will work perfectly
I am so lucky that every year we can get back to Ireland to see my family and enjoy time in the countryside or by the shore. I shared a page about Ireland earlier this week using one of my new March cut file titles and now I’d like to share a card too
It’s so easy and quick to make cards using printables A plain or embossed background for a more graphic look or add a fun, colorful paper to make it pop . Here are two cards that I created using some of my new March printables from my etsy store Cut Mania

Here’s a card I created inspired by the Feb 5th sketch at Sketch n’ Scrap
I created the ombre b/g using Tim Holtz ink and a Heidi Swapp stencil
I’ve been trying to create some more Christmas cards and I used sketch n scrap’s sketch #63 for this one – rotated I used a JustNick cutfile and added some shiny stars in the shaker box.
I also added this to the Paper Issues Owl I Want for Christmas link party
Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We had a very relaxing time I got to do a little scrapping and watched a series of my favorite British TV crime shows
Here’s a card I crested inspired by the latest card sketch at Sketch n Scrap
I rotated the sketch sideways
This is a card I created for the Scrapbook Generation’s November CREATE magazine – I promise it will be the last metallic paper or pumpkin for a while

I know I may have mentioned this before (!!) but the DCWV metallic papers are just perfect for Fall cards – the 6×6 paper pad has several shades of metal – they are easy to cut and punch and you can also bend them into shape . I created another Thanks card using several of the papers. I embossed the banners and used some leaf cutfiles from thecutshoppe for the little leaves which I then pop dotted.

I’ve been loving playing with my Silhouette and pumpkin images – I hate to waste the negative space so I’ve been using them on cards .
On this card I created the background by stamping with a pencil eraser with some Tim Holtz then overlaid with my metallic paper cutfile
