Perfect March Day

It’s a chilly 10 degrees but the sun is shining – the kids just got back from snowboarding.  This time of year everyone gets so hopeful and optimistic that Spring is coming.  We get an extra 6 1/2 minutes of daylight each day so at 8 p.m. the sun is still shining.  Unfortunately we usually get one more good dump of snow in April so we’re not quite there yet.  Still the sunshine lifts everyone’s spirits.

Here’s my first ever acrylic album.  It’s full of my fav nature quotes and nature pics.  Every day I’m just so amazed at the beauty that surrounds us – of God’s bounty and grace , His magnificent artistry.  One of my fav quotes from the album is “God writes the gospel not in the Bible alone, but on trees and flowers and clouds and stars.” Martin Luther.

I kept it pretty simple.  I painted around trhe edges of the MR sheer album and used lots of Pebbles and Jillibean Soup papers and journaling spots. All the materials except the Colorbok “Keep it green” sticker is from the April Sweet Pea Scraps kit

Crazy October

October is just a crazy time for me – volunteering at school, PT Conferences, book fairs, Hallowen, parties AND Dan is gone with work and with hunting.  Anyway I survived and even got a few items scrapped.

If you can believe it I got another mini album done and I’m working on a third. I’m even starting to enjoy them !

This one is a very cute Maya Road album – I used StampinUp papers – I’m not normally a green person but I love the shade of these papers.
