More Basic Grey ‘B ‘side

I’m up on the Scrap Room Blog today with more pages using the Basic Grey B Side from the September Flavor of the Month Kit

These pap \ers are so bright and funky – they contrast so perfectly with black.

A Few Cards

I got to play with some fun papers this month at the Scrap Room.  I made a few cards from the scraps

Love these modern fun papers from Basic Grey – the bright color pop against black

the papers went perfectly with the Silhouette cutfile

Love this butterfly tag from WRMK

I cut the sentiment from one of the WRMK papers and paired with the Echo Park star paper

and from Echo Park

Back in Time

The September Flavor of the Month Kit at the ScrapRoom had such a wonderful variety of papers – you really could scrap any theme.  I loved this corrugated look paper from Crate Paper Wonder paired with some contrasting bright papers to scrap these older fishing/camping photos..  Nathan still loves to fish and now has the filleting skills to process his own fish

Today I’m up on the ScrapRoom’s blog with a page I created using the August sketch and FOTM Summertime kit

Every year when we visit my family in Ireland we walk down to Murlough Bay – a beautiful long stretch of sandy beach, with maybe two or three dog walkers enjoying the sea air. There are not too many swimming friendly days in Ireland – cool temperatures and even cooler water temperatures, although the kids usually make it in.  Imagine our surprise when last year we discovered a new lifeguard station – closed of course – maybe they’re expecting hordes of swimmers !!  So when I saw all the lifeguard diecuts I knew I had to scrap this photo.

I am Thrilled ….

I am honored to be the guest designer for the next 3 months at the Scrap Room.  They have so many amazing kits and August’s is no exception.  I got to play with the Flavor of the Month kit – packed full of Crate Paper, Simple Stories and October Afternoon goodies.

A few years ago we took a a trip through the Alaska wilderness in a monster truck – it was such blast and these Crate Paper Journey papers were perfect to scrap it.
