Recently, I hurt my leg pretty badly and haven’t been able to get around much so I’ve been doing some designing Here are the latest files
Sketch #113 at sketch n scrap was perfect for my photos of our rainy hike up to Wolverine. I created a title Cut File using a Dr Seuss quote again perfect for the theme
Quote reads,”You’re off to great places. Today is your day. Your mountain is waiting, so get on your way”
We almost got into trouble at the weekend when my friend Susie drifted out onto the lake and was then unable to start the jetski.. Fortunately a king neighbor floated out on the paddleboard and was able to assist. She and Lauren then spent an enjoyable evening jetting around.
This page was inspired by case file 212 at CSI – I loved the colors . My page is also inspired by a page at Paper Issues. I created a special star cut file – with a dashed outline and 3D raised stars in the middle.
Finally had a chance to play along with one of Kristine Davidson’s wonderful sketches As usual I had an idea , then it kind of spiraled (pun intended) into something different – hope you can still see some resemblance to the original sketch
I used a new Fall cut file from Cut Mania – Windswept and some older pics of Lauren playing in the leaves one windy Fall day.
We’re trying to squeeze in some outdoor activities before Fall comes – the signs are here – cooler temperatures, yellow leaves, fireweed is all bloomed out.
Yesterday I never made it into the kayak – the water was low – I was trying to drop the kayak into the lake from the deck and it got stuck – when I pulled it suddenly came loose and I fell into the muddy gunk at the edge of the lake. Lauren did, however, get in a little paddleboarding.
I used one of the latest cut files from Cut Mania – ripples. I inked with 3 Tim Holtz inks behind the cut outs.
20 again LOL. So, I thought I’d have a 20 % off in my etsy store Cut Mania
I just added several files and have a few more ready to add. Use code AUG20 to get the discount.
Seems like a lifetime ago that Nathan graduated high school. Now he has 2 part time jobs, is leaving for a leave month wilderness experience, then starting college in the New Year. He has definitely transformed from boy to man.
I created this page using a Cut Mania b/g file – I used lots of metallic and glittery papers.
It’s been a gorgeous day here – sunny and 75 degrees – and yet – I’ve been scrapbooking! I got this really fun pic of Nathan whilst taking senior photos recently. Love the perspective. I paired it with a fun maze cut file from Cut Mania (coming soon !) and a printable phrase also Cut Mania
I hate to waste the scraps and I thought some of them looked a little like waves so I ombre watercolored them and used them on a beach page I used the May 1st sketch from Stuck? Sketches
